REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 1

In this two-week performance camp, students will rehearse and present an original melodrama in two public performances on the Cottage Theatre stage. Instruction in acting, singing and dance technique will help all campers develop their craft.

This year we're reviving local playwright Keith Kessler's original melodrama Slabtown vs. Lemati...OR The Feud that Made "Going Postal" Popular. 

Camp Dates & Time 

9:00 am - 3:30 pm 

Week 1: Monday - Friday, July 7 - 11

Week 2: Monday - Friday, July 14 - 18

Performance Dates:  

All students are required to participate in both performances

Friday, July 18 at 7:00 pm

Saturday, July 19 at 7:00 pm

Scholarship information: Thanks to the generosity of Cottage Theatre donors, we have a limited number of need-based partial tuition scholarships available. **Important Note** If applying for a scholarship, please submit this application form before completing your registration. Cottage Theatre will promptly process your scholarship application and then contact you directly regarding next steps.

Cancellation policy: $25 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel before June 30 you will get a full refund excluding the $25 deposit. If you cancel on or after June 30 you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel after July 3 there will be no refund given.
